About Kloor Jewellery

Kloor Jewellery embraces the art of handcrafted design, creating timeless sterling silver earrings that celebrate Nordic minimalism. Founded in Stockholm, Kloor is the vision of Isabelle Klöör, whose background in digital marketing has evolved into a deep passion for jewellery making and design. Each piece is personally crafted by hand, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike—every earring carries its own unique character and story.

Our designs reflect a blend of Scandinavian heritage and modern elegance, with an emphasis on clean lines and thoughtful craftsmanship. Whether you're looking for everyday essentials or a bold statement, Kloor Jewellery offers pieces that embody both individuality and refinement, made with care in every detail.

Crafting process

At Kloor Jewellery, each pair of earrings is handcrafted using silver clay. This unique method allows to create intricate designs, such as the Chunky Statement Earrings, with precision and flexibility that traditional silverworking techniques often can't achieve. Silver clay, invented in the 1990s, is composed of fine silver particles, typically recycled from sources like the photographic industry and electronic devices, combined with an organic plant-based binder and water.

The clay can be moulded, rolled, textured, and shaped to form beautifully detailed pieces. Once shaped, the earrings are left to dry, after which each piece is carefully filed and refined to achieve its final form. The next step involves firing the piece with a butane torch or in a jewellery kiln, during which the binder burns away, leaving behind solid silver of hallmark quality. After firing, each earring is polished to perfection, ready to be worn and cherished.
